The program has six main goals, combining education, staff training, awareness campaigns, and community events to help prevent bullying and support young people.
1. Raise awareness
Highlight the importance of combating bullying and encourage students, educators, families, and the wider community to take an active role in preventing it.
2. Educate and empower students
Deliver talks, seminars, and conferences that help students understand why bullying happens, recognize its consequences, and learn how to respond, seek support, and help others safely.
3. Train faculty and school staff
Equip teachers and school personnel with practical tools to identify, prevent, and address bullying, support those affected, and foster a safer school environment.
4. Engage younger generations through extreme expeditions
Use experiences such as HALO skydiving from 25,000 feet, scuba diving beneath the ice in Greenland, and a planned skydive in the Everest region to capture young people’s attention. Footage recorded during these expeditions will be used in presentations and shared on social media to extend the program’s reach and spark conversations about bullying, fear, resilience, empathy, and the importance of seeking support.
5. Bring the community together through the Zero Bullying Gala
Host a gala dinner with a live music performance, bringing together schools, universities, families, businesses, and supporters to raise awareness and funds for the project. The evening provides an opportunity to present upcoming initiatives, encourage collaboration, and strengthen the community’s commitment to preventing bullying and supporting young people.
6. Share knowledge through the annual Zero Bullying Conference
Bring together students, educators, school leaders, families, and specialists to explore the causes and consequences of bullying and practical ways to prevent it. Through expert talks, panel discussions, and interactive workshops, the conference will address topics such as cyberbullying, early warning signs, how to respond to incidents, and support for affected students. The aim is for participants to leave with practical tools, clear actions for their schools, and connections that encourage collaboration throughout the year.
